The mounting challenge of keeping pace with today's dizzying array of new media choice is the focus of the upcoming 2012 Canadian Media Directors' Council Conference.
The much-anticipated annual event -- scheduled for April 23 and 24 in Toronto -- will take a critical and expansive look at the state of today's complex media environment and the greater universe in which we operate.

Monday April 23rd – An exclusive Pre-conference VIP Dinner at Malaparte with Jonah Lehrer. Tuesday April 24th – A full packed agenda starting with the acuity of Jack Myers and ending with the inspiring Salmon Khan, founder of the Khan Academy.
Attendees will hear some of the industry's leading thinkers and practitioners challenge the audience with provocative insights into the kinds of media strategies and approaches that advertisers will need to stand out in today's hyper-competitive world.
In keeping with the high-end conference theme, this year's CMDC event has shifted to the TIFF Lightbox complex, the swank and contemporary home of the internationally acclaimed Toronto Film Festival, located in the heart of downtown Toronto.
The 2012 CMDC conference will include presentations and discussions involving leading Canadian and international industry authorities.
The CMDC Conference is the biggest industry event of the year ¦ an opportunity to network with decision and deal-makers, to learn about the latest issues, trends, challenges and opportunities and to gain insights that will help drive businesses forward. The CMDC Conference is a must-attend event for all media and marketing executives.
The Canadian Media Directors' Council is a non-profit, independent organization, comprised of media professionals representing advertising agencies and media management companies, working to advance the effectiveness of media advertising in Canada.
