McDonald’s launches social media site to answer customer food questions
Hollie Shaw  Jun 8, 2012

McDonald’s Canada is promising an open-door policy on customer questions with its new social media site, “Our Food. Your Questions,” aimed at debunking common myths about the quick-serve restaurant giant’s food.
To pose a question, people can log into the McDonald’s Canada website at yourquestions.mcdonalds.ca using their Facebook or Twitter accounts.

“We’ll answer any questions about our food — even the tough ones — then post a personal reply from McDonald’s Canada,” the site says.
Multiple questions and answers have been posted since the site launched this week.
Sample question from Chris D. of Winnipeg: “Is the McChicken really made from ground up pieces of the chicken that can’t be used for anything else and then breaded?” Answer: “Definitely not, Chris. The chicken patty in our McChicken Sandwich is made with a combination of seasoned chicken breast, leg and thigh meat. In other words, nothing you wouldn’t be able to find at your local grocery store.”
