Victorinox, the company that makes the Swiss Army knife, opened its first Canadian store in Toronto this week on the city’s Bloor Street fashion retail strip.
Merchandise includes knives and watches featuring its iconic red-and-white cross logo as well as travel gear and luggage, fragrances, men’s and women’s apparel, and home goods such as towels.
“As a global brand with a 128-year history, it’s time for us to establish a presence in one of our most important markets,” said Joachim Beer, president of Victorinox Global Fashion.

The outlet, which is 3,400 square feet and encompassing two levels, is the first flagship location in North America and the fourth in the world.
