Toronto agency employs hunky firefighters in interactive promotion

Toronto-based agency John St. is encouraging Tetley Infusions drinkers to think about alternative ways of cooling off with its online “Rescue Squad” promotion.
Tetley Canada is getting real-life firefighters to try out for the squad, a group that will make promotional appearances at events throughout the summer. The group of off-duty firefighters will “rescue” people from artificially flavoured bottled waters and drink mixes, according to John St. There is an audition and voting phase on Tetley Canada’s Facebook page asking the public to vote for the final squad members.The promotion also includes interactive voting boards on city streets, online advertising and in-store sampling
