Doug Ford’s 95-year-old mother-in-law has tested positive for coronavirus. Karla Ford’s mother, a resident at West Park Long-Term Care home, has tested positive, the premier’s office confirmed on Thursday. The long-term care home, located in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Scarlett Road, has reported 12 deaths related to COVID-19 at its facility. “Our family is going through it, along with 70,000 other families that have a loved one in these homes and it’s very difficult. I recognize that the system is broken and we’re going to fix the system,” Ford said in the news conference.
