Ontario Parliament to Return on August 8th, Says Source

Premier Doug Ford has informed his members of the parliament that the Ontario Legislature will return on August 8, a source told Media in Toronto on Thursday.

“The parliament will return in action on August 8th and the premier has told his new elected parliamentarians they have until next month and they can take a vacation from now if they want so,” the source, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told Media in Toronto.

On Wednesday, Ford unveiled in a statement the team of parliamentary assistants that will support the cabinet in delivering the government’s ambitious plan to build Ontario.
